My name is Lisa Williams.
Ever since I was a young girl, I have been able to see spirits. I would talk to them and play with them. It never bothered me. To me it was normal. This was back in a time when being 'spiritually aware' was never heard of. This was something you never spoke about.
It's becoming much more socially acceptable, but it can still be a little unnerving and scary if you have a child that is 'gifted' or 'spiritually open'.
I am also a mother to a 7 year old gifted child, Charlie. He has a natural healing ability and also the ability to see spirits. He calls it "His World" where he talks to his friends and feels safe. Fortunately, I am able to personally guide him and answer his questions.
I was chatting with a friend of mine, Jo Frost. You may know her as 'Super Nanny'. She has over 20 years experience working with children, and she is also very spiritual. Her work is based, of course, on her knowledge but also her intuition. She really is amazing. We were talking how there wasn't really an informative place for children to go to find our more about this subject, so I decided to create this site to help others like Charlie.
Children are very open to the other side when they are very young. Some close their awareness down because they are not allowed to explore this. Others stay open. There are more and more children being born into this world with a gift. I would like to help them here.
Some of the children who visit this site may have been branded with a label the medical profession has given them. Perhaps they are being medicated to 'control' what they have going on inside. The medical profession do an amazing job, but often they do not understand the complexity of a spiritually-gifted child. Fortunately we are becoming more educated, and now alternative therapies and healing is more common.
As the song goes: the children are our future, we need to teach them well and let them lead the way. It is here I would like you to help your child grow and understand how special they are. Throughout this site you will also understand how to deal their abilities and nurture them.
I am able to give your child the tools that he or she needs to understand this special ability. It's up to them and you as the parent to let it grow.
