When I was younger, I discovered I could see things and hear things that no one else could. For me it was normal, but to everyone else it was strange.
Then it started to scare me, and I thought I was the odd one out. Actually I wasn't, there were others like me. I was not alone, but I felt like no one understood me.
That was over 20 years ago. Now it's my job to hear and see things that no one else does.
I talk to people who are no longer alive. I call them spirits. I help people who are ill with my hands. I heal them.
It helps so many people to know that their friends and family who died are around, but they are just in a different place. Some people call it Heaven. But it's a place so peaceful and calm. A place where there is understanding and love.
My name is Lisa Williams, and I want to help you understand a side of life you don't learn at school. Part of life that you may not want to discuss with your friends, teachers or family members.
I want to help you understand:
- Why your hands tingle when you are around someone who is not feeling well
- Why you see colors around someone or when you close your eyes
- Why you feel like someone is watching you and when you turn around, no one is there
- Why you hear voices in your head
- Why when you pick up a stone or a rock, you can feel it vibrating.
- Why you want to have some quiet time and 'meditate'
- Why you have an imaginary friend or world
In my life, all these things are normal, and they should be in yours too!
